Why has a profile I matched with on Muzz disappeared?

Ah, that can be frustrating! If a profile you matched with has disappeared, here are a few possible reasons:

• The match expired: Expiring matches focuses on eradicating ghosting! If a match disappears, it may be that it timed out after 72 hours of no messages from you both and therefore expired, but don’t worry! They’ll reappear in your Marriage tab, where you’ll have the chance to match with them again! 
• They unmatched: They might have decided to unmatch, which removes the connection for both of you. This will move to the Unmatched tab, and show as unavailable.
• They deleted/deactivated their account/reset their profile: If they left Muzz, their profile (and your match) would disappear. This will move to the Unmatched tab, and show as unavailable.
• They blocked you/you blocked them: You won’t be able to see if they blocked you, but you can check to see if you blocked them by going to Menu → Settings (cog at top right)→ Privacy → Profiles I’ve blocked on Muzz
• They were banned: If their account didn’t follow our guidelines, it might have been banned permanently or temporarily by our team.

While we can’t restore matches, don’t let it get you down – there are plenty of other amazing people on Muzz to connect with!
