Why am I seeing people outside of all my filters?

Your filters help personalise the profiles you see in your Marriage tab.

To update them, go to the Marriage tab and tap the Filters icon in the top left corner. You can filter by things like Age, Location, Sect, and Ethnicity. If you’re a Muzz Gold member, you’ll have access to even more filters.

For some filters, you’ll also see a “Show me other profiles” option. When this is turned on, we’ll occasionally show you members who are just outside your selected preferences.

This usually happens when you’ve already seen everyone who matches your filters. To help you keep discovering new people, we’ll start showing profiles that match most, but not necessarily all, of your preferences.

If you’d prefer to only see people who match your filters exactly, you can turn “Show me other profiles” off for the relevant filters.

Keep in mind that using fewer or broader filters will give you a larger pool of potential matches, while more specific filters will naturally reduce the number of profiles available.
