Why was I charged upfront for my Muzz Gold subscription?

All Muzz Gold subscriptions are charged in full at the start of your subscription period. This is how subscriptions work through Stripe, the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Your subscription will then automatically renew at the end of the subscription period unless you cancel it beforehand.

Free trials and automatic renewal

If your subscription includes a free trial, you’ll need to cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends if you don’t want to be charged.

The same applies to paid subscriptions. To prevent your subscription from renewing, cancel it at least 24 hours before your current billing period ends.

I wasn’t expecting the charge

Before you complete your purchase, Stripe, Apple or Google displays a confirmation screen explaining the subscription price, billing period, and that your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled.

I think I’ve been charged incorrectly

Subscriptions and payments are managed by the platform you purchased through, so Muzz isn’t always able to investigate charges directly.

If you believe you’ve been charged incorrectly, please contact Apple or Google, depending on where you purchased your subscription. They’ll be able to review the payment and advise you on the next steps.

I deleted my account. Why was I still charged?

Deleting or deactivating your Muzz account does not cancel your subscription.

Your subscription must be cancelled separately through the payment provider that you signed up with – usually Stripe, the App Store or Google Play. If it isn’t cancelled, it will continue to renew according to your subscription terms.
