Why do I need to show my face in my verification selfie or main photo?

To verify your account, you must upload both:

A verification selfie showing your face
A clear main profile photo showing your face

These photos need to clearly match – this helps us confirm that every account belongs to a real person and keeps Muzz safe for everyone.

Your verification selfie is never shown to other members. It’s only used by our verification system and only a female moderation team will see it to confirm your identity.

If you’re worried about other members seeing your profile photos, you have full control over your privacy:

Men and women can hide their profile completely by going to Settings > Profile Visibility > Hide me from everyone.
Women can blur profile photos by going to Settings > Profile Photo Visibility > Blur my photos. When you blur your photos, men’s photos will appear blurred to you as well.

Please note that we can only verify accounts with a clear main photo and a valid verification selfie. If you choose not to upload them, you won’t be able to use Muzz.

Repeatedly uploading photos that don’t show your face, don’t match your appearance, or don’t meet our verification requirements will result in warnings and may result in your account being permanently banned.
