How do I fix the app crashing or freezing?
If the Muzz app is crashing or freezing, don’t worry – we’ve curated a simple guide to get it running smoothly again!
Here’s our official guidance on what you can do:
- Check your internet.
A shaky Wi-Fi or data connection can make the app act up. Switch to mobile data or restart your router to see if that helps. Some broadband parental controls might block Muzz too – try turning those off if you’re on Wi-Fi. - Force-close the app and reopen it.
On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom and flick Muzz away.
Android, go to Settings > Apps > Muzz > Force Stop. Then relaunch it.
If it’s still freezing, restart your phone completely – it’s a quick reset that often works wonders. - Clear the app’s cache.
On Android, head to Settings > Apps > Muzz > Storage > Clear Cache.
On iPhone, head to Settings > Muzz > Reset cache on next launch. (Then open the app).
This won’t delete your account, just the temporary glitchy stuff. - If your phone’s low on space, that could be the culprit too.
Check Settings > Storage (or iPhone Storage) and free up some room by deleting unused apps or files. - Lastly, make sure Muzz and your phone are updated – go to the App Store or Google Play for the app, and Settings > Software Update for your device.
If none of these do the trick, reach out to us via the Help Centre. We’ll get it sorted for you! 😊💙
