We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager to take ownership of our global social media presence.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong organizational skills, who can balance innovation with the practical needs of global content management. You will work closely with regional teams, ensuring accountability and consistency.
What we're looking for

- Stay current on social media trends, tools, platforms, and best practices. Implement new strategies to increase engagement and reach.
- A creative thinker who can turn on-the-ground marketing activities into engaging online content.
- Strong ability to develop global content calendars and optimize distribution through scheduling tools
- Demonstrate experience in creating and managing content for diverse, global audiences. Understanding of regional differences in social media usage is key here.
- A strong storyteller who will proudly be one of the global faces of Muzz with the ability to create engaging content with a strategic mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ideally you have a strong understanding of Muslim cultures and what challenges/opportunities there might be marketing to this audience
- Data driven – tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, or similar platforms
Day to day
- Manage day-to-day activities on global social channels including planning, posting, and monitoring.
- Lead creative brainstorming sessions to generate unique content ideas.
- Collaborate with global marketing specialists to identify and record activities on the ground that can be transformed into dynamic social media content.
- Oversee the entire process of social media campaigns, from concept creation to post-campaign analysis.
- Working alongside the studio team and a team of global marketing specialists ensuring consistent branding and voice across platforms, adapting content to fit the needs of different markets.
- Ensure that all content produced by the marketing and creative teams is effectively used across the appropriate social channels.
- Ensure growth, engagement, and consistency across all channels by holding global and regional teams accountable for output and posting.
- Develop and maintain a global content calendar, coordinating with regional teams to align posting schedules for maximum engagement.
- Make smart use of scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social) to manage and optimize global content output, ensuring timely posting across time zones.
- Repurpose content for different formats and platforms, optimizing for each platform’s audience and style.
- Lead the creation, curation, and distribution of engaging and high-quality content (text, images, video) across various platforms such as Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and others.
- Identify key content pieces to be repurposed or shared multiple times across regions and platforms to increase visibility and engagement.
- Track and report on the performance of social media posts and campaigns.
Requirements
- 4+ Years proven experience managing and executing global social media and content strategies across multiple platforms.
- Excellent management and communication skills. You’ll need to work with multiple teams across the business
- Fluent in written and spoken English – bonus if you can speak French, German, or Arabic
- Experience working in fast-pace consumer tech or consumer brands
- Bonus: An understanding of Muslim culture and the Muslim scene – either lived or learned and working across social communities
