What happens if I delete my account?

Not ‘if’ habibi – when.

When you’ve met your other half, or need some time to fall back in love with yourself – here’s what goes down:

• Goodbye, farewell: Marking your account for deletion means your profile is immediately not shown to other members and that once 2 years has lapsed, your account will be wiped for good – your profile, photos, chats, and all personal info get removed from our servers. No take-backs!
• Data Deletion: We’ll fully delete or anonymise your info within 2 years, per our Privacy Policy (though anonymised transaction records stick around for 2 years).
• Matches & Chats: You will no longer be visible to any other member on the app.
• Start Fresh: If you change your mind 2 years after deleting your account, you’ll need to create a new account from scratch – old data won’t come back.
• Heads up: Deleting your account doesn’t automatically cancel any active Gold subscriptions, so handle that separately via your payment provider. Click here on more info on how to do that.
