Why can’t I send a message to someone I liked?
On Muzz, you can send messages to users you’ve matched with – you may need to wait on a like back. However, if you haven’t matched with someone yet, you won’t be able to message them directly.
To initiate contact without waiting for someone to like you back we have the Compliments feature, which allows you to send a message immediately.
We ask members to send at least 30 characters in their first message to help encourage more thoughtful and meaningful introductions. A slightly longer message gives you a better chance to make a genuine connection, rather than just sending something very brief.
Non-Gold members receive one free compliment a month, while Gold members receive one free Compliment daily and have the option to purchase additional credits.
If you’ve sent a Compliment to someone, you can only send a follow-up message once they accept your Compliment. Think thoughtful first impressions here.
