We're looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious marketer who understands the US market - especially when it comes to what resonates with American Muslims
The role is based in London, but we're looking for someone with strong roots to American (and American Muslim) culture
This role is perfect for someone who has diverse marketing experience under their belt, and is looking to grow their skillsets at a fast-paced startup
A creative thinker - you're brimming with ideas and not afraid of testing and experimenting with them
Someone who would thrive on travelling regularly to the US and Canada to represent Muzz at events
You'll work closely with our team members in North America and the rest of the Muzz team in the UK to deliver campaigns across the region - whether that’s an influencer campaign on Monday, billboard campaigns on Wednesday, or an event on Friday
We want someone who lives and breathes modern brand marketing - show us your creative side!
You'll be our eyes and ears for the latest happening in North America - whether that's trends you notice on social media, or trends you identify from our own data
You'll also have a big say in the direction of our Muslim dating and marriage app - running focus groups and analysing user data to help us understand what American Muslims want in a dating product
Awareness & Acquisition - You'll work closely with our digital marketers and brand teams on events, influencers, out of home advertising, digital advertising, brand campaigns etc
Retention - You'll be vital in helping us understand the German market and how we can improve the app experience in ways unique to them
Revenue - You'll help us experiment with ideas to drive revenue growth and maybe even find new products for German users
3+ years of marketing experience in the US
Fluent in written and spoken English
Must be able to travel once every 1-2 months to different cities in North America
Experience working in fast-paced consumer tech or consumer brands
Proven track record showing you understand how brands can be effective IRL and online
Confidence with data and using it to make decisions
Experience managing small teams
Good project management and communication skills. You'll need to work with teams across multiple timezones
Bonus: A strong understanding of Muslim culture and the Muslim scene in the US - either lived or learned
Hybrid office: Mandatory Tuesdays and Thursdays in the London office
