We’re both from Birmingham. We were both on Muzz for a few months and we were messaging on and off with really delayed responses from both sides!

We both deleted our accounts in Ramadan in 2016 and went back on after and started messaging again until he said its time to meet!

So it took us 3 months until we finally met in person. We hit it off straight away like we knew each other for ages and remained friends first for a few months.

Funny thing is we went to the same gym and live in the same area but never bumped into each other!

Neither of us had the courage to say how we really felt until 7 months later when I made the first move! I told him I liked him and then we told our families.

We’re from different backgrounds, I’m Mauritian and he’s Pakistani so I was worried about being accepted but it has all worked out and his family are lovely and welcoming.

We got married in July 2018 and flew out to Istanbul the day after!
