Zaira & Adil: Marriage after Divorce, through Muzz
April 1, 2026
Zaira & Adil met on Muzz in 2024 – both hailing from Karachi, and having a similar past life – their story is about trusting yourself to find the right person on your own terms.
Adil downloaded Muzz in May 2024, a few months after the end of his previous marriage. This time, he wanted to be intentional about who he spoke to and patient enough to recognise the right connection.

Meanwhile, Zaira was navigating a similar chapter of her life. Previously married and also a mother, she knew she wanted her next marriage to begin with understanding. Her earlier rishta had been arranged through traditional matchmakers, and she felt that important things about compatibility had only become clear much later.

Zaira notes that when she came across Adil’s profile, she noticed how much they seemed to share similar experiences and outlooks. And so, she decided to send the first message.
What stood out to Adil was Zaira’s openness. She spoke honestly about her life and her past, and that sincerity made their conversations feel easy and natural.
A few days later, in December 2024, they decided to meet in person. This meet up turned into an entire day together, which they spent reminiscing old songs together, walking around the park and having long conversations over brunch. Later that day, Zaira met Adil’s family while he stepped out for Jummah prayers, and by the end of that day, both of them knew.
Over the following months, their families met and spent time getting to know each other. And by February, just a short while after their first meeting, Zaira and Adil were nikkahed, beginning the next chapter of their beautiful story together.
Zaira and Adil’s story reminds us that meaningful relationships are built on honesty, intention, and patience. And that sometimes, the right person comes along when both hearts are ready to recognize and nurture it.
