Fazila & Anas: A Karachi Love Story

Fazila and Anas’s love story began on Muzz in 2022, in Karachi. Fazila first downloaded the app when her mother was looking for rishtas through rishta aunties, and she found herself irked by the entire process. Fazila was eager to find someone she truly connected with, and decided to take the search into her own hands. Anas had joined earlier, at the end of 2021, but after meeting a few people he didn’t click with, he left – only for fate to make him return to the app, where he matched with Fazila.

Anas had used the compliment feature on Muzz Gold to send Fazila a message, leaving Fazila thinking, “Wow, this man really means it.” What compelled Anas was how similar their likes and dislikes were – he says it felt as if Fazila had “stalked me and then written her bio just for me.” For Fazila, what stood out was how effortless their connection felt; they could start talking in the morning and continue late into the night.

Their story moved fast. They matched on January 15, met in person on January 30, and that very night Anas sent her a sweet message: “I want to grow old with you.” Fazila shared her excitement with her younger sister and her mother, and soon they were talking seriously about marriage.

Anas, eager and sincere, said, “We’ll get married in six months,” but Fazila recalls a night when she thought, “If we both feel this way, why wait?” They tied the knot the very next month, on March 19.

Years later, Anas credits Fazila for being there through thick and thin, often going above and beyond to support not just him but the whole family. Fazila, in turn, fell in love with Anas’s care and dedication – his presence as a husband made her feel truly supported, something she says deepened her love for him even more. 

Today, Fazila and Anas are happily married with two children, a testament to love found the modern way, yet rooted in sincerity and trust.
