Muzz is the world’s largest Muslim dating and marriage app. We’ve got over 10 million members and have helped more than 600,000 couples get married. We’re on our way to becoming the first $1 billion Muslim tech brand – but we need your help!

As a Region Growth Product Manager, you’ll lead a fully equipped marketing squad backed by designers, videographers, brand and performance marketers, engineers and data scientists, to build out your own growth roadmap all with the goal of obsessing around a singular north star – namely growth and traction in one region of the world.

You’ll be supported by and lead Marketing Specialists on the ground in key focus countries. The other main squad PMs (Acquisition/Retention/Monetisation) will also be a big source of collaboration to prioritise product changes to help you achieve your growth goals.

You’ll be in control of your own destiny and get to really go to town on growing all aspects of our already successful product.

What we're looking for

Not a Project Manager – we want a proven Product Manager. Someone with a strong track record helping apps position, launch and grow their products in different markets
A capable storyteller. Someone who can take a complex feature and turn it into something simple our members can be hyped for
This role is perfect for someone who’s worked in app product teams before but wants more direct product growth impact
Someone comfortable liaising with Performance Marketers, Brand Marketers, design teams and product teams
We’re growing rapidly in North America, Europe, MENA and South Asia – you’ll have experience working on international app products
You’re organised and structured, but this is a fast-paced startup – things change and we’ll need to change with them so you have to be agile!
A data wizard. Someone who collaborates with data science to underpin and influence key decisions
Strong prowess in experiment ideation, prioritisation and roadmap planning

Day to day

You’ll lead a squad of experienced professionals of all skill sets – including performance and brand marketing, engineering, data science and design and operate as a nimble but effective growth team
Understand your region fully – what are the pain points of users, how is your region different from others, how do we tailor our growth plans specifically to your region
Work with your marketing team to allocate and manage growth budgets in the countries in your region, analysing spend vs. growth outcomes
Own the KPIs related to user growth, including acquisition, retention, and monetisation in your region
Identify and get prioritised product changes that will improve user experience and drive growth in your markets, working closely with product and engineering teams.

You must have

2+ years of product experience (ideally in startups – corporates can be a bit too ‘corporate’ for us)
Proven experience growing apps/metrics – ideally around customer acquisition, revenue and retention
Confident and proactive using data to make key decisions
Strong storyteller – you’ll be able to communicate effectively to your squad and work as a team
Bonus: Cultural understanding of our audience and their specific needs, especially the MENA region
Bonus: Previous dating or social networking app experience
Bonus: You’re a native Arabic speaker or have lived experience in the Middle East region
