All ninjas need their master sensei, that’s why we’re looking for a bright and talented UX Lead to join our ranks!
Collaborative development - Work in an agile, cross-functional team of creatives, software engineers, QA and content specialists to envision, design, iterate on and ship a first-class product
Leadership - Coordinate and organize the product design team to deliver beautifully crafted interfaces and seamless experiences which fulfill Muzz’s strategic aims
Player-coach mindset – Demonstrate agility and proactivity; getting involved with projects as necessary to support Muzz in attaining ambitious product goals.
Mentoring - Nurture individual designers and help them become their best selves by providing training, setting goals and hosting design reviews.
Quality control - Define the visual standards and interactions which make a best-in-class experience and become a champion for maintaining consistency across all areas of the product.
Mediate - Collaborate with your team and technical stakeholders to navigate priority conflicts and deliver robust features, which deliver on strategic aims.
Advocacy - Own the UX culture at Muzz; defining and disseminating ux strategy, best practices and processes. Continue curating and scaling our existing design system.
Strategy - Work closely together with CEO and technical heads to create and manage the product roadmap
Passion – You are passionate about excellent digital cases and are well acquainted with the latest trends and technologies in the UX environment
Leadership experience - Proven experience managing an agile product design team in a fast-paced environment. Great at managing people, expectations, and deadlines while keeping the team inspired along the way
Mindset - The ability to lead by example; demonstrating the same empathy for internal teams as you do for users.
Design skills - Expert knowledge of common UI and UX patterns on the web and for mobile apps
Communication - Stellar communication skills and ability to negotiate design direction with designers, developers and C-level executives
Positive attitude - Positive and open attitude to collaboration and input from other stakeholders
Agility - Enthusiastic self-starter who will flourish in a dynamic startup environment
Organizational skills - Methodical and well-organised approach to work & time management
Experience - 6+ years of professional experience in the design of complex, digital solutions, and applications, preferably in an agency environment. Commercial experience of native mobile design is crucial.
Portfolio - Strong portfolio demonstrating your experience with end-to-end product design. Case studies should cover the problems you worked on, the process to solve the problems and the impact made.
Tools - Mastery of common design and prototyping tools (Figma, Invision, ...) as well as creative methods and complex design workflows (facilitating workshops, benchmarking, low-to-high prototyping, usability walkthroughs, user testing ...)
Have current and valid eligibility to work in the UK, able to come into the London office twice a week
