We’re 12 million members strong in 15 languages, but we’re looking for a leader in performance marketing, with bonus abilities in ASO and SEO to take our digital strategy to the next level and get us to 100M.
What we're looking for
- This role is perfect for someone who’s had 8+ years of performance marketing experience, especially in startup or fast-paced consumer settings.
- You have directly architected metric-led Paid and Performance Marketing strategies, with a core understanding of mobile app user acquisition.
- You have experience in SEO and ASO to lead and optimise strategies
- We need a strategic leader who can deliver consistent and scalable results across marketing channels and tactics.
- You have proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, inspire and motivate senior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- You have experience in working on international app products – We’re growing rapidly in Europe, MENA and Asia!
- You’re organised and structured, but this is a fast-paced startup – things change and we’ll need to change with them
- A data wizard. Someone with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Marketing Analytics tools, who collaborates with Data Science to influence key decisions
- Someone who isn’t obsessed about needless process – you’ve got to be agile!
Day to day
- Promote a culture of rapid experimentation, creativity and staying ahead in growth innovation.
- Lead UA/SEO/ASO/Digital efforts across global markets/languages while managing and developing team members.
- Understand and analyze competitors to identify gaps and opportunities to drive Muzz’s next growth phase.
- Collaborate closely with Data Science and Product leaders to oversee and forecast budgets as needed, identify growth opportunities, and improve growth analytics, insights, reporting, and dashboards.
- Improve tracking, measurement and reporting systems to ensure all departments understand the performance of our campaigns accurately, aligning BI and MA data.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and identify opportunities for increased automation and efficiency
You must have
- 8+ Years experience in performance marketing roles with a focus on mobile acquisition
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing team members in Performance Marketing/SEO/ASO
- Deep understanding of tooling and strategy across the evolving marketing landscape for mobile apps.
- Experience with Mobile measurement partners (MMP), and recent developments in App measurement around ATT, SKAdNetwork Solutions, Modelled Conversions, Consent Mode, Opt-ins etc
- Proven ability to manage 8 figure budgets
- Strong experience in experiment design, prioritisation and planning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Been the leader at a company through a high growth stage, adapting and evolving their performance marketing approach.
- Bonus: An understanding of Muslim culture and the Muslim scene – either lived or learned
- Bonus: You can fluently speak and write Arabic, French, German, Dutch, Urdu or Turkish
